Project Description
For the last 2 years we have partnered with Vulcan on multiple campaigns. This is where they wanted to take things to the next level and showcase their two sponsored pro players utilizing their signature PPA Ball as well as their own uniquely branded paddles.
The lighting and setup for this shot began at 3 AM and we started filming the players at 5 AM. With only 2 hours to film on location with the players we needed to be efficient and decisive with the shots we captured and get enough coverage to show the product and highlight the Pro vs Pro gameplay. We utilized unique angles with a high-hat on a ladder for the wide court shots which created more intrigue.
In post the process was focused on telling the story, great sound design, pacing that built tension then released, all while showing the product in action.
